Matt Dalton
Matt has been coaching lacrosse for 10 years and is committed to developing athletes both on and off the floor. With experience coaching athletes across multiple age groups and competitive levels, Matt has built a reputation for creating positive, high-energy environments focused on skill development, confidence, and team cultures. Matt focuses on developing complete players through fundamentals, lacrosse IQ, and mentorship. His goal is to provide athletes with opportunities to grow, compete, and reach the next level within the sport.
Matt holds multiple certifications through the National Coaching Certification Program including: Certified Box Lacrosse Competition Introduction, Trained Box Lacrosse Competition Development, Trained Box Lacrosse Community Development Coach, Trained Men’s Field Lacrosse Community Development Coach, Trained Women’s Field Lacrosse Community Development Coach, Trained Women’s Field Lacrosse Competition Introduction, Learning Facilitator Training in Community Development and Competition Introduction programming. In addition to formal certification pathways, Matt continues to pursue ongoing professional development to provide athletes with modern, development-focused coaching and leadership.
Through a commitment to athlete development and community growth, Matt continues to be a passionate advocate for expanding lacrosse opportunities and growing the game across Saskatchewan.
