Jessica Benning
Jessica is a passionate lacrosse coach and athlete from Weyburn, Saskatchewan, dedicated to helping athletes grow both on and off the floor. With eight years of coaching experience across multiple age divisions and competitive levels, Jessica has built a reputation for creating positive, motivating, and development-focused environments for players of all skill backgrounds.
Throughout her coaching career, Jessica has worked within the Weyburn Minor Lacrosse Association, the Flatland Coyotes Female Program, and Team Saskatchewan Female programs. Her experience spans house league, club, and national-level competition, including coaching at multiple National tournaments and representing Saskatchewan at the Canada Summer Games as an assistant coach with the U17 Girls program. Her playing career has also taken her across North America, Europe, and Australia, where she competed alongside and against elite international athletes through various girls lacrosse programs.
As a coach, Jessica believes in developing the complete athlete — not just creating skilled lacrosse players, but confident, respectful, and resilient individuals. Known for her exceptional lacrosse IQ and strong leadership abilities, she focuses heavily on athlete education, game awareness, and building confidence in every player she works with. Jessica is committed to providing a safe, supportive, and positive environment where athletes feel encouraged to learn, grow, and challenge themselves every time they step onto the floor. Her energy, experience, and passion for the game make her a trusted mentor for athletes looking to elevate both their skills and mindset.
